Capital One 第一资本即将以全股票交易的形式完成对Discover的收购，交易最快在今年年底就可以完成，两家公司完成合并后，Capital one 将持有60%股份，Discover 将持有40%股份，有鉴于这两家机构都拥有庞大的信用卡业务，且此次收购金额高达353亿美元，可能会受到美国监管机构的反垄断调查。如果两家公司可以如期完成合并，将成为2008年金融危机以来最大交易案，也将创造全美最大的信用卡公司，规模超过摩根大通和花旗。
